I've resolved a problem with posting comments. The hosting provider had a stupid rule in their Apache configuration that was interfering with normal MT operation.

Time to put up the big "Under Construction" sign: I'm starting to migrate stblogs.org to Movable Type v3, so the various blogs will need some rebuilding over the next few weeks.
